We set out, we spread out, we hit the trails, we walked the walk, we’re coming back to tell the tales….So, among other episodes over the past forty years…

…after our impressionable RHCS times, to Univ. in Buffalo along with Paul Grout, Ben Mesler, Dick Howe, Bonnie Roberts, et. al. , then 3 days at Woodstock with Ben Mesler, Mark Hertel, brother Pete + 500K other characters, then boot camp with Bill Crafts and John Chestnut. Went to work with Customs & moved West in ’79 to work in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose -- very involved, interesting, seen a lot, enough tall tales to write a book or two, but have not seen u guys since.

Married Fatima, have two busy, studious, Eagle Scout, swim team, band playin’ sons -- Rich in San Diego and Dave near Sacramento, both went to the Univ. of Calif. system for computer careers. Hope they do well and are happy in their next decades. You parents know all about that. Scuba diving brothers Dave, the skydiving lawyer, and Pete, the golfing globetrotting entrepreneur, are not too far away, doing well in Arizona.

Living in Foster City, Calif., a very nice community -- all the amenities, on the San Francisco Bay, in the midst of the cities and the sights. We’ve been living, working, biking, kayaking, sailing, exploring (shopping), hangin’ out with friends, and all the other stuff here -- quite an active, sunny fair weather, interesting & diverse & sometimes crazy area. Arnold S Terminator for a governor; plenty to see and do in between earthquakes.

Lots of fond memories of our contemporaries at RH and WNY were renewed because of this reunion page. Had a chance to email or talk to a few 66ers so far -- Ben, Bill, Jerry, Paul, Dan, Joe, Marty, Bev, MJ, Cathy, Dick, more… And thanks, committee, and hi also to our now appreciated teachers, the coaches, the staff too who put together some nice facilities and programs, and the ladies who made those sloppy joes at school.

And Chip Porter, nice work, much thanks, and it was really great to see and hear from some of our 65er friends in their reunion page. They’re a cool group. Maybe we should have a combined RHCS 60’s reunion someday?

They couldn’t teach us everything before we set out and spread out and took to the trails, but those were our “wonder years” and we nearly figured things out from there. It’s good to hear from old friends again, and the next forty or so should be interesting.
