Remember when people said they were having their 40th class reunion and we thought they were old??? NOT!!!
I went to Niagara Community College for nursing for a year and dropped out to marry Ron Mufford (see
bio). We met in 1st grade and I knew we would marry someday when we were in 4th. Does anyone remember that 4th grade and how we were never in class because we were at the high school drooling over Dick Warner??? Ron went to work at IBM in Endicott, we had 2 children (a son who is 35 and a daughter who is 37) and then moved to Rochester so he could get his engineering degree at RIT.
IBM means I’ve Been Moved and we did. We moved to Kentucky, Colorado, Arizona and back to Colorado where we are now living. During that time I found my biological father, survived raising teenagers, had at least 15 jobs, volunteered at several places, survived breast cancer, broke my pelvis, rib etc from a jeep accident, and had numerous other learning experiences. The best thing about this past 40 years is how Ron and I have grown (still working on it) and we now have 4 beautiful granddaughters (ages 8-11). They are the joy of our lives. All in all it has been an interesting ride and we are glad we shared it together. We are looking forward to the next 40 (one of the granddaughters said she would change my diapers when the time comes!! NOT!!).
I can’t wait to see all of you and hear about your life experiences.
