I graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a BA in English. Then attended Xavier University Graduate School, majoring in Finance.

I lived in Cincinnati for 19 years. I taught English on the high school level; then administered pension plans; then designed & wrote accounting computer programs; then owned an engineering consulting company.

I currently live in Columbia, SC (for the last 17 years), where I am the controller for a commercial general contractor. (I love building buildings!)

I am "currently" married to Clyde Byrdic (yeah, I know, there's no one "at home" named Clyde) -- and we won't get into prior marriages.

We have one son, Ben. (Benjamin Clyde Byrdic III), who is currently 17 (unless I manage to anihilate him before the reunion).

I am big-time into Boy Scouts -- and not just the “participate with your kid” thing. I do big events -- 1000 - 1500 people.
